The Newport BUP-2 Universal Base with rotating disk and mounting hole accommodates a 1/4-20 or M6 tie-down screw. The slot or mounting hole allows 0.707" of translation. An optical post holder, model VHP-2, measuring 2"H x 0.5" diameter is mounted on the base.
